SUMMARY
- The Guoliang Tunnel is an amazing 0,7 mi (1.2 km) long mountain road in China. The story of its creation is unbelievable! Before its construction there had been a very dangerous path with narrow steep stairs which didn’t have any handrails.
- The sellers take their goods away and fold their tents in seconds, giving way to the train which moves at a speed of about 9 mi/h (15 km/h). This is the reason the market is sometimes called Talat Rom Hoop which means “Market Umbrella Close”.
- Yungas Road (also called Death Road) connects Bolivian cities of La Paz and Coroico. It descends from the height of 2 miles to 1,181 ft (3,300 to 360 m) above sea level. Despite the fact that the road is very narrow, even trucks manage to pass each other.
- If you look at this highway, you will surely ask, “So what is so dangerous on this straight road?” Right, this is the longest straight road in the world with the length of about 994 miles (1,600 km)!
- The “Nose of the Devil” railway is built on the rock which has the same name. It was called this way because people believed that Devil didn’t want a railway to pass through that place - that’s why so many deaths occurred among the people who built the road.
- Pamban is India’s first sea bridge built in 1914. It connects the mainland part of India with the island which has the same name. In 1964 there was a storm which hit the island. It overturned a passenger train and all 150 people who were inside died.
- At 807,7 miles (1,300 km) long, Karakoram is considered the world’s most high-altitude international highway. One of its sections passes at the altitude of more than 15,091 ft (4,600 m).
- This is the road between the island of Noirmoutier and mainland France. This passage seems quite common, doesn’t it? It is, until you get to know that to drive along it, you will need to know the schedule of the tides! In fact, the road is approachable only twice a day - before and right after the low tide.
- Leh-Manali Highway runs through several high mountain passes. It is located at the altitude of 13,034 to 16,404 ft (4 to 5 km). This road is extremely narrow, covered with dirt and gravel, but this doesn’t prevent local drivers from zooming through at high speeds.
- This road leads to the top of Tianmen Mountain where a Buddhist temple is situated. It is only 6.8 miles (11 km) long but it can boast 99 bends with the distance between some of the curves less than 656 ft (200 m)!
- The highway which runs through the dried Solar de Uyuni is located at the altitude of 11,811 ft (3,650 m) above sea level. Local landscapes are so unusual that they can be taken for some extraterrestrial grounds!
- This road was built in 1880s and it is a true wonder of engineering. The construction took only 5 years and it has remained mostly unchanged since then! This amazing passage has numerous holes, cliffs, steep descents and sharp bends.
- Only 108,7 miles (175 km) of this 413,8 miles (666 km) highway are covered with bitumen, the rest of the way you have to drive on gravel. Tough weather conditions, winds, unexpected changes from 2 to 4 lanes and back, poor visibility have made this road particularly deadly.
- If you decide to make a 15-hour train journey, be ready to pass through 21 tunnels, 42 bridges and viaducts, 2 spirals and 2 more zigzags on the 134,8 mi (217 km) road! This railway is one of the highest in the world, its top point (at the end of the line) is situated at the altitude of 13,780 ft (4,200 km).

Some people have always been frightened of bridges. Gephyrophobia sufferers often try to avoid crossing bridges altogether, driving miles out of their way to avoid them. Of course, quite a few bridges can be rough experiences for those with acrophobia, as well. With some bridges, however, terror seems to be the only sensible response. Here, we look at 12 bridges that would turn anyone’s legs to jelly. Read on, but don’t look down. #Tallestbridge #worldsbiggest #top10 Music : "I Can Feel it Coming" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 License http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/

See the 11 kms exciting rough road- A detailed video on the way to Kaparkan Falls. From Bangued, Abra,at their tourism office located at the compound of DPWH.Book your trip early by calling their tourism coordinator Ms. Dyane Molina at 0927-7725-856.3 6x6 trucks are available ,each can contain 35 tourists leaving 7 am to 8 am in the morning. For unbooked or walk in tourist they may provide you with a 25 sitters 4x4 jeepney,at least there are 2 of them(green and red).I advise you to ride on the truck, e.i. if you can reserve early. We opted to ride on the jeepney coz we were just walk in tourists without any reservation but arranged our trip on site a day before going.Round trip fee from Bangued to the car park of the falls (36 kms,of which 11 kms are rough -travel time 3-4 hrs) 850 pesos inclusive of the fare, environmental fee and tour guide.Even if you are booked be prepared that your trip be canceled or postponed because of the non forgiving heavy rains etc.At the parking area you have to trek for about 15 minutes in a nice trail way.But be prepared to be wet with rain,so put your gadget in a water sealed container.Bring with you drinking water, food for lunch and a set of extra clothings. There is an eating area several meters from the falls. Each batch of tourists is only allowed to stay for 2 hrs, maybe for environmental concerns and safety. So maximize your time because the falls is so huge,500 meters by 80 meters and the 2 hour limit is not enough to have a nice shots on all aspects of the falls.Ber months are the ideal time to visit the place (rainy days) for the falls to have plenty of water.Hotel Accommodations are plenty in Bangued but the cheapest aircon is the Adtempco Coop Hotel, room rates starts at 900 pesos plus 150 per extra head for their twin room, free wifi and free use of their kitchen.NB-This video has no background music and minimally edited for you to appreciate the sound of car engine and the falls

You probably aren’t the only one looking to pull the ol’ switcharoo. Even if just a few passengers do it, they could throw the plane off balance! And since most aircraft are incredibly sensitive to changes in their center of gravity, it can lead to dramatic consequences. During takeoff, pilots must know the distribution of weight on the plane to make exact calculations. If these calculations are off even the slightest, there are chances that the aircraft can crash while leaving the ground. So before nestling in a more comfortable or spacious spot, ask a cabin crew member if you're allowed to do so. That's why only able-bodied adults can occupy such seats. - Follow cabin crew instructions to open window shades during takeoff and landing. This way, flight attendants can see what's happening outside. - Fly non-stop without connections if you can. An overwhelming majority of plane crashes happen during the first 3 and last 8 minutes of the flight. - Wearing proper clothing will reduce your risks during air travel. Try to wear clothes made of natural fibers such as wool, cotton, leather, and denim. - Prepare a "run kit" and make sure it's with you at all times. Such a kit should contain your passport, wallet, cell phone, credit cards and cash, any necessary medications, and a list of emergency contacts. - Don't stuff heavy objects into overhead lockers. They can fall out during severe turbulence and injure you or other passengers. - If you see some suspicious activity or strange-looking packages, immediately inform the cabin crew. - It might be a waste of time to look for the safest seat on the plane because it probably doesn’t exist. Sometimes you watch a magician's performance and can't help believing you’ve just witnessed real magic. In reality, even the most head-spinning tricks can easily be explained. Get ready to be amazed as we’re going to show you some famous magic tricks revealed. Catching a bullet with your teeth takes a lot of practice to nail it, but as soon as you grasp the concept, there's nothing simpler and safer. The trick goes like this: the lovely assistant shoots at the magician with a loaded gun. The magician gets the crowd going and pretends to be shot. He then magically spits the bullet out of his mouth. Most of you have probably seen street performers who seem to be magically floating in the air while seated. It’s incredibly simple and doesn't require any effort on the performer’s part. He just sits on a metal plate well-hidden under the illusionist’s baggy clothes. The legendary sawing in half trick is also easy to explain. There are actually 2 assistants in the box. And the real trick is to make those people as compact as possible. One way they do it is to have the assistants lie on their backs and pull their knees as close as they can to their chests. Or one of the assistants hides in a special compartment under the box holding the other one. They can also slide their legs down into special compartments that look like the table’s legs. The stunt for standing man cut in half trick needs some creative prep, and good flexibility. If you don't run away screaming in horror, you’ll notice that this man’s jeans cover only the parts of his legs below the knees. As for his legs from the knees up to his waist, it's a dummy. The front part of the magician's body is also fake. When he shows this trick, it's extremely important for him to keep the lower parts of his legs in a vertical position while hiding the rest of his body. Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music TIMESTAMPS Catching a bullet with your teeth 0:29 Levitation 1:38 A spike through the stomach 2:44 Sawing someone in half 3:48 Sending a card through glass 5:13 Standing man cut in half 6:43 Walking on water 7:54 Bonus: a card through the arm 9:03 SUMMARY -While the magician is loading the bullet into the gun, he uses a ramrod fixed with a magnet on its tip. So instead of pushing the bullet inside, he pulls it out and hides it in his hand. The magician quickly puts the bullet in his mouth. -There’s always a rug or piece of carpet on the ground beneath the magician that’s actually hiding a metal platform with a steel rod sticking up from one of its corners. That rod then connects with another metal plate that the performer sits on. -The spike going through the body of the magician's assistant is retractable. As soon as it comes into contact with a surface, it folds into itself. -There are actually 2 assistants in the box. And the real trick is to make those people as compact as possible. -The magician needs two absolutely identical decks of cards and two trusted assistants. The one who’s hiding on the other side of the window takes the necessary card out of the second deck and sticks it to the glass at the right moment. All the magician needs to do is find the same card in his deck and cunningly hide it away. -For this trick, both the magician and the stunt need fake body parts. When he shows this trick, it's extremely important for the magician to keep the lower parts of his legs in a vertical position while hiding the rest of his body. -To walk on water, magicians use industrial grade plexiglass platforms standing on long legs made from the same clear material cleverly placed under the water. -Find a pair of scissors and cut out part of a playing card in the shape of your arm. Then place the card on your arm so that it stays firmly in place. How to design a successful logo? How to build a famous brand for your business? Some of the most well-known logos in the world were purposefully designed to indicate something much more than simple beauty. In fact, it seems that in some cases, every line, curve, and color has meaning behind it. Adidas, Apple, BMW, Coca-Cola, Toyota… We see these famous brands everywhere but never consider what their logos exactly mean. Curious to know the secret? Watch the 16 famous logos with a hidden meaning you've never noticed. #logomeaning #logosecret # Hyundai 0:33 The letter ’Н’ symbolizes two people – a client and a representative of the company – shaking hands. Adidas 0:52 The current logo is three stripes at an angle which together form a triangle. This symbolizes a mountain, which in turn represents the challenges that all sportsmen have to overcome day after day. Apple 1:21 Rob Janoff, the designer who came up with the world-famous Apple company logo, explained his idea in one of his interviews. He bought a bag of apples, placed them in a bowl, and spent time drawing them for a week, trying to break the image down into something simple. Vaio 1:58 The first two letters of the Vaio logo symbolize an analogue wave. The last two are similar to the numbers 1 and 0 — that is, symbols of a digital signal. Amazon 2:14 The orange arrow is similar to a smile because the company wants its customers to be satisfied. The arrow is also stretched between the letters ’A’ and ’Z’, in a hint that the company sells absolutely every product you can imagine. Baskin Robbins 2:40 The pink-colored parts of the "BR" section make up the number 31, which is how many ice cream flavors Baskin Robbins used to famously sell. Toyota 2:56 The logo represents a stylized image of a needle eye with a thread passing through it. This is a hint at the company’s past – they used to produce weaving machines. Continental 3:28 Continental, a famous car tire producer, has a logo in which the first two letters depict a car wheel. Formula 1 3:41 If you look carefully at the white space between the letter ’F’ and the red stripes, you can see the number 1. Pinterest 3:59 On Pinterest, people collect images they like from across the Internet and ’pin’ them to their online boards. That’s why the image of a pin is hidden in the letter P. Beats 4:17 Beats, an audio equipment producer based in the USA, uses a logo in which the letter ’B’ looks like headphones on a person’s head. Toblerone 4:32 The famous chocolate company based in Bern, Switzerland, has a silhouette of a bear in its logo. That's because Bern is sometimes called a city of bears. BMW 4:55 The logo is simply a part of the Bavarian flag, the area of Germany where the company originated. LG 5:18 The logo is a stylized image of a person’s face. According to the company, this represents its aspiration to have human relations with their customers. Evernote 5:34 The corner of the elephant’s ear is folded over in a similar way how people fold the corner of a page to make notes. Coca-Cola 5:57 In the space between the letters ’O’ and ’L’, you can see the Danish flag. It’s purely a coincidence. Nevertheless, Coca-Cola has used this as part of its marketing campaigns in the Scandinavian country. If you’ve enjoyed this video, hit that thumbs up button! Most people believe if they pay more for an "upgraded" versions of some product, they get better quality as well. Unfortunately, this rule doesn't work every time. Take, for example, organic food. Some of them can be 300% more expensive than other foods and drinks. But do you know that if a product is covered with skin, like bananas or avocados, you can safely buy non-organic ones? Another example: opting for a higher Internet speed. Some Internet providers offer blazing-fast home Internet. But unless you're a professional online gamer, you don't need such speeds, and paying extra for this service is a waste of money. So how about we figure out if there's any need to pay more for an extended warranty or a big helping of French fries? And experts say that today, appliances and gadgets rarely break down during this period. - Fashion experts recommend mixing items from different price categories and investing in something high-end only if you can wear it often and with different outfits. - Tastes change, you might want to start a renovation, and then you'll have an additional headache of trying to sell your massive furniture. - The average economy-class ticket is 7 times cheaper than the one in first class. Ask yourself if the advantages of spending several hours of your time in a more comfortable seat are really worth it. - If you have hot meals brought to you at least several times a week and pay a couple of dollars plus tips for each delivery, it makes up a hefty sum at the end of the month! - A traditional vacuum is much more cost-efficient, even though you have to spend some time and effort to operate it. - If you don't visit the gym regularly, choosing a luxury one is just flushing money down the drain. - Experts claim that there are no advantages in using premium gas: it doesn't make your car run faster, there's no fuel economy, and it doesn't affect the volume of emissions. - Buying jewelry can be a great investment — but only when you buy natural emeralds, diamonds, rubies, and other precious gems. - If you're in doubt whether you should order a medium or a big helping, opt for the smaller size. The difference in price looks tiny, that's why you might think that you've got yourself a good bargain by paying less for more food. - In most cases, all the difference between coffee you make at home and coffee from a new fancy coffee shop is in its price. Throughout history, people have moved across the great expanses of the globe to establish communities. Some of them have even grown into large cities which harbor millions of individuals. However, some people have chosen to remain in smaller groups that are totally off the radar. These communities have withstood the test of time in near isolation. In fact, many residents have never left the small area of isolation they call home. Octopuses and squids are anything but cuddly pets. They have neither legs nor fins. Instead, they have snakelike arms, covered in suction caps - eight or ten, dangerous tentacles, which grow out of their heads. To add to their bizarre appearance, they are soft flabby, void of vertebrae or bones. When in danger, they emit foul-smelling ink. They originate from a time before humans walked the earth; from the primeval period, before fish populated the oceans. It is therefore hardly surprising, that these cephalopods seem so strange and disconcerting to us. Our film trip takes us to the Sea of Cortez, to the Socorro Islands, where fish are in abundance. It is here that we want to find the legend-ary Humboldt squid, to capture its nocturnal hunt for food on camera. Mantas, white-tip reef sharks, sea lions and dolphins accompany us. Before our late night rendezvous with the squids, we get some close ups of the sophisticated hunting techniques of swordfish, or Merlin. On Vancouver Island, we accompany Karen Palmer and David Pickles, experts on giant octopi, on their search for the eight-armed cephalo-pods. We are also on hand, when they greeted by their "favourites", witnesses to a unique communication between man and animal.

Every spring the freezing mist of lake Baikal signals the start of a dangerous voyage for the men of this village. A journey to the high plateau of Siberia to resupply Ren-deer hunters. Dimitri is the only driver brave enough to take on this deadly journey he has to deliver 600 kilograms of food as quickly as possible. The winter has been so hard for the shepherds has being without fresh supplies for six months. In a few days the melting snows will turn the road into an icy swamp. It's only 40 miles to the shepherd's camp but it's 40 miles that could take several weeks to cover. Ahead of them lies the deceptive white hell of Siberia.

As you know, art is not just a source of inspiration but a great mystery too. Artists often add unique little details to their paintings or leave messages that are impossible to notice at first glance. We’ve collected painting masterpieces with surprising secrets. At the end of the video, there’s a bonus waiting for you: one of the strangest hypotheses about the Mona Lisa. Stay with us and learn the things that you never knew before. TIMESTAMPS The wrong ear 0:55 The painting under the painting 1:55 The Night Watch is set at daytime 2:41 The Sistine Chapel’s anatomical code 3:27 The symbol of strength 4:41 Rembrandt’s squint 5:10 Vengeance to lovers 5:55 Prediction of the end of the world 6:36 The world in yellow 7:48 Mozart and the Masons 8:31 Toothless Mona Lisa 9:02 SUMMARY - The discrepancy is explained by the fact that van Gogh used a mirror to create the picture of himself. It seems to be a strange and sharp reaction for van Gogh to cut off his ear. However, the history explains it with the fact that he was deeply in troubles and, apparently, losing his mind at the time of executing the painting. - If you look closely at The Old Guitarist by Pablo Picasso, you can see a ghostly female silhouette behind the man’s head in the top center of the painting. After taking infrared and X-ray images of the canvas, researchers from the Art Institute of Chicago discovered a few other shapes hidden underneath. - The Shooting Company of Frans Banning Cocq and Willem van Ruytenburch (better known as The Night Watch) is considered to be one of Rembrandt’s greatest portrait paintings which were executed at the top of his career. The painting depicts the militia fully equipped and readying them to embark on a mission. - The Creation of Adam by Michelangelo contains allusions to anatomy. They argue that the right part of the painting is an anatomically correct image of a huge brain. You can find even the most sophisticated components of the brain, such as the cerebellum, the optic nerve, and the pituitary gland. - The figures of David and Goliath in another fresco of the Sistine Chapel created by Michelangelo form the Hebrew letter gimel, which symbolizes strength in the mystical Kabbalah tradition. It is not a surprise that the shapes on the painting look so powerful, is it? - Margaret Livingstone and Bevil Conway studied Rembrandt’s self-portraits and proved that the painter suffered from stereoblindness. This peculiarity made the artist perceive the world a little differently: he saw reality in 2D instead of 3D. - One of the most famous paintings by Gustav Klimt portrays Adele Bloch-Bauer. It was commissioned by her husband, the sugar baron Ferdinand Bloch-Bauer. He found out that Adele and Klimt had an affair and believed that after hundreds of sketches the painter would come to hate his mistress. - The Italian researcher Sabrina Sforza Galitzia proposed an unusual interpretation of Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper. She says that the artist left a prediction of the end of the world in his painting, which will happen on March 21, 4006. - Almost all the paintings of Vincent van Gogh feature a dominant yellow. Professor Paul Wolf explains that as a side effect of an epilepsy remedy that changes color perception. - There is solid evidence that Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was a Mason. Even in his child portrait by Pietro Antonio Lorenzoni, we can see a Masonic symbol: a hidden hand that indicates a hierarchical rank in the secret society. - What is it that made Mona Lisa’s smile so enchanting and captivating? Dentist and art expert Joseph Borkowski carefully studied Leonardo da Vinci’s painting and claims to have unveiled the secret behind La Gioconda’s smile... #mystery #paintings #secretmeaning Subscribe to Bright Side : https://goo.gl/rQTJZz ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our Social Media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/brightside/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/brightgram/ 5-Minute Crafts Youtube: https://www.goo.gl/8JVmuC  ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For more videos and articles visit: http://www.brightside.me/

Most Dangerous mountain roads In The World, Heavy Equipment Truck Skill Driving 2019, Dangerous trip

We’ve seen wonderful lists of the most creative, bizarre and quirky houses and they’re truly a marvel to see, but today it’s all about location, location, location! We put on our hiking boots, pack our backpacks and go traveling to some of the strangest places on earth where people have built their homes. Subscribe to Talltanic http://goo.gl/wgfvrr 13 - Home grown… Before we knew too much about turning our homes into eco-friendlier versions of their selves, Icelanders were already far ahead of the game. They use the earth’s natural dirt to insulate their homes, which means once the grass starts growing, you’re blending in with the landscape beautifully. Also bear in mind that building materials are not easy to come by in more remote areas, so this is the perfect solution. By owning one of these homes, you’ll blend right in. 12 - Ready for Take Off… This Boeing 727 Hotel in Costa Rica is located deep in the heart of the jungle. So not only are you heading into the seriously awesome location of a jungle, but you can also brag that you’ve overnighted in a disused airplane flew from South Africa to Columbia once upon a time. Many amazing conversions have taken place in old aircraft, from restaurants, to homes, hotels and even a kindergarten. 11 - Rock On… Over in Utah you’ll find homes that have been blasted into a rock wall that form part of the Rockland Ranch Community. Around 100 people live there, and the area was founded 35-years ago. 10 - Cliff Hanger… Although Xuan Kong Si is actually a Monastery, I’ve added it to our list today – because technically, it is home to the monks that reside there. This particular mountain is considered sacred, and the Monastery in Mid Air – which is what Xuan Kong Si translated means – has been hanging there since 491 AD. To this day, architects are in awe of how they managed to get these dwellings to hang like this off the side of the cliff. They do know how it was done, but it’s remarkable they were able to do so. They were built high up as either a defence mechanism against marauders, or to protect themselves from floods. 9 - Home is where the heart is… This big house is located on Elliðaey Island, Vestmannaeyjar Archipelago in Iceland. An incredible view from above, but you’ll never be allowed to visit there. It was built in the 1700’s and at that time 5 families lived on the island. The house is now owned by a hunting club and you have to be a member to get there. They don’t have electricity but fortunately they do have a sauna. 8 - Oh, the places you’ll go… Over in Northern England these treehouses served as a form of protest. The residents of the treehouses built them to prevent authorities from quarrying for gritstone in the historic Nine Ladies Sit in Stanton Lees. 7 - Time to go home… This is the Brooklyn Clock Tower Home and it’s got a hefty price tag attached to it. It costs $15 million and offers the lucky owners a view of Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. It’s 6,813-square-foot and at one stage was bring rented out for $50,000 a month! 6 - Welcome Home… Built in the 1700’s, let’s take a walk around Yemen’s Dar al-Hajar palace. The more modern part on top of the hill was built in the 1930’s by Yahya Muhammad Hamiddin, an Islamic Spiritual leader. The rooms of the palace are built into the side of a tall rock spire and you can buy a ticket and walk through this 5-story rock palace. 5 - The house of the rising sun… Although it’s uninhabited, this is just worth a share because it’s so bizarre. It’s known as the Floating Castle near Krasnosilka in Ukraine, and is actually an abandoned granary. 4 - Home is where you lay your hat… We head to Tunisia and pop in for tea at Matmâta. Thought to date back to the Roman times, inhabitants have dug these monstrous pits into the ground and tunnelled into the sides to create their living space. Nobody really knew about this place until the mid-60’s and that was thanks to the Star Wars film, A New Hope, where Luke Skywalker made his home on the planet Tatooine. Why they are built like this is not certain, but it could possibly have been to hide from the Egyptians or some like to believe that desert monsters used to live in those underground tunnels. 3 - Head for the hills… Admittedly, it’s not a house but a hotel, but the location is most certainly surreal! The Solvay hut is located at 13,000 feet on the Matterhorn in Zermatt, Switzerland. It offers a resting place for weary hikers! 2 - House on a hill… In this case, it would be more of a case of house in a hill. This was the creation of SeARCH and Christian Muller Architects, and the entire home is built into a hill. The shape allows for lots of natural light to filter into the home, exquisite panoramic views and loads of shelter. 1...

If you've ever had to take a plane somewhere, you probably know how it feels to have your flight delayed by several hours. But imagine being stuck at the airport for a whopping 18 years! Well, one man didn’t have to imagine at all because that’s exactly what happened to him… Other videos you might like: The Man Put His Head In a Particle Accelerator, See What Happened https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_kq8_Z4LXQ& 10 Things You Should Never Google https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zedhjlDdD4& 10 Things You Didn’t Know About Flight Attendants https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V1neQzgKL38 TIMESTAMPS: What led up to that 1:11 His family secret (it reminds me of soap operas 😑) 1:54 Where things started to get murky 2:26 What his life at the airport was like 4:33 How he supported himself 5:04 The vicious circle 6:05 His new documents were fake? 6:21 Was that man... a Swedish submariner? 😮 7:27 Why he had to leave the airport 8:06 Music by Epidemic Sound https://www.epidemicsound.com/ SUMMARY: - The man asked for political asylum from Iran. For 4 years, he got nothing but rejections from different European countries. But in 1981, fortune finally smiled upon him. - Nasseri was already an adult when his mother told him that he wasn’t her real son. It turned out that his birthmother was a Scottish nurse who’d had an affair with his father. - When he arrived at Heathrow Airport, he didn't have his refugee papers with him! Nasseri claimed that they’d been stolen on a train when he was on his way from Belgium to Paris. - Upon his arrival at Charles de Gaulle Airport, things really started getting weird. Since Nasseri didn't have his refugee papers, Parisian passport control authorities also wouldn’t let him leave the airport! - At first, Nasseri thought that his airport stay wouldn't last longer than a few days, maybe weeks at the most. But months went by, then years, and the man was still living in Terminal 1. - He mostly stayed on his personal red bench on the restaurant floor reading books and newspapers and writing down his experience in a diary. - Once his story spread around, concerned and generous people started sending him some money. - In 1995, 7 years into his stay at Terminal 1, Belgium agreed to send the necessary documents by mail. On top of that, France even granted Nasseri a residence permit. - But his new papers were under his birth name, Mehran Karimi Nasseri, and they had his nationality listed as Iranian, which he said wasn’t factual. - Nasseri's lawyer said that at first, his client was pretty sharp and his story made total sense! But over time, the details started changing and getting mixed up to the point that it became anything but believable. - In 2006, Nasseri finally left the airport 18 years after he’d first set foot there. Unfortunately, it wasn't his voluntary choice. He’d gotten sick and was taken to the hospital. How to Get the Most out of Your Flight. Maybe you love to travel by plane, or maybe just the idea makes you clench your teeth in terror, but we bet you didn’t know all of this. It’s time to ask the experts who fly all the time: flight attendants to reveal their secrets and tips on how to make your flight more comfortable and safe. Many of us consider ourselves experts at navigating departures, flights, and takeoffs almost as naturally as we get out of bed in the morning or take a walk around the block. But however experienced you are, learning some of these insights about airplanes can make your flights more pleasant. It might also make the experience better for the pilot and crew of flight attendants who have to do this all day, every day. TIMESTAMPS All-male crews are a thing of the past. 1:21 Not waiters, but captain’s assistants! 2:36 The crew is just as frustrated as you are. 3:25 Don’t sleep during takeoff or landing. 4:05 Sleeping when cruising is a great idea. 5:13 Chicken or fish? 5:47 Follow instructions — or else! 6:42 Sit toward the back. 7:45 Rely on your flight attendants. 8:49 Flying tips straight from the pros! 9:18 Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music SUMMARY -Before 1930, the crews of airplanes were 100% male, including the pilot, ground crew, and all of the flight attendants. Over a hundred years, the gender roles reversed, and many now see this as a primarily female profession. -In reality, a flight attendant’s job is to assist the captain by managing the cabin during a flight. -Airline crews are typically paid by the hour, but only the hours spent in actual flight are paid. A flight doesn’t actually start until the door is closed. -Experienced flight attendants recommend avoiding falling asleep on take-off, descent, and landing. Not only will you not be attentive during these dangerous parts of the flight, but it can impinge on your comfort. -Attendants encourage passengers to sleep on night flights, deliberately delaying food service to let people fall asleep. -Some flight attendants use a trick to get more people to choose the fish: they say that the fish is a “special” from the “chef,” reserved exclusively for this flight. -Some airlines supply their flight attendants with tasers to deal with passengers who don’t comply. Safety is very important on planes, and they’ve got to be able to control a situation. -Especially if you’re a nervous flier, you’ll be pleased to know that the back seats tend to be far safer, statistically speaking. -Flight attendants are trained in first aid and CPR. They can treat small wounds, assess symptoms of common traveler illnesses, and even deliver babies in-flight. -Never take your shoes off on a plane. Lots of passengers use fold-down tables for all sorts of things: as writing surfaces, pillows (with drool-catching action!), or places to change a baby. Use antibacterial disinfectant, and clean the tray for your own safety. Flight attendants have very little free time during a flight. If you’re thirsty, rather than pressing the call button, consider going up to them to ask for a glass of water. Are you in a healthy relationship with your cellphone? You take good care of it, treat it with respect, and always keep it close… But---has your phone been coming home late, making lame excuses for their whereabouts, erasing their call logs so you can’t see who they’ve been communicating with? 😜 Are you sure that the relationship isn’t toxic? Сould be if you’re guilty of some all-too common mistakes. For example, when your phone is hinting it wouldn’t mind an update, treat it to one. Manufacturers work on them for a reason. They fix bugs and protect your gadget from possible threats. They do take some storage, but it’s well worth it. As long as you’re downloading from reliable sources, it’s 100% safe. It’s what happens when you constantly bend your neck down and forward to look at the screen. It’s a real pain in the neck! - Plugging your phone in without looking or jamming the charger in the port with all your strength just because, say, you’re in a hurry – you’re shortening the charger’s lifespan. - A cell phone is a little electromagnetic transmitter and receiver. That means it emits radio waves. Scientists are still trying to figure out how dangerous those might be for your brain. - The light from your screen suppresses melatonin, the hormone that regulates your sleep cycle. - Your phone gets hot when you're using it, and your skin absorbs a little of the heat every time you keep it close to your body. - You might love to catch some rays, but your phone is strongly against it. Too much sun or heat can ruin it from both the outside and the inside. - Expensive cases aren't always the safest just because they have a famous logo on them. Pick the most reliable one that's fitted to your phone, brand or no brand. - When you see a weak signal on the screen, it means your phone is putting out a stronger signal as a transmitter while trying to find a better connection. - When you restart it, the RAM is cleared, and all the apps are closed. If you don’t do it from time to time, your gadget might have an emotional breakdown one day and refuse to respond to your commands or just turn off. - Constant vibration slowly takes life out of your phone’s battery and decreases its performance. - A phone cover isn’t just a trendy accessory. It’s designed to protect your phone from scratches caused by sharp things like keys inside your bag. - It’s not the best idea to open the phone and do the cleaning yourself – take it to a professional, they know how to do it - Even if it seems like you still have enough free space on your device, do it a favor and unload the burden. - When you hear a storm starting, it's not the best moment to charge your phone. Even if you have the best network filters, a lightning bolt can still crash that protection. There are lots of amazing outdoor swimming areas in the world. Some of them are safe and protected with lifeguards watching over you while you swim, bathe, dive off rocks, and play in the water. But some beaches are not just unsafe — they’re outright dangerous! Here are 8 places where you should never attempt a swim if you treasure your health and life. TIMESTAMPS: Blue Holes 1:03 Colorful Pools 2:15 Laguna Caliente 4:18 Nyiragongo Crater's Lava Lake 5:16 Pink Lake 6:19 New Smyrna Beach 8:12 Frying Pan Lake 9:22 Eagle's Nest Sinkhole 10:22 Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music SUMMARY: - Most blue holes are open to the public. However, some of the biggest ones have acquired a really bad reputation among divers. - It's hard to believe that nature created something as colorful as the thermal pools located in Yellowstone National Park. They look like something from another world: bright, beautiful...and deadly. - Laguna Caliente is located in Costa Rica and differs dramatically from its sibling, Botos Lake. These 2 bodies of water are crater lakes of the Poas Volcano. - Mount Nyiragongo, which is situated in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, is an active volcano. Its last eruption took place in 2002. In its crater, there's a lake. But it’s not your typical lake. - Lake Hillier in Western Australia is indeed as pink as it looks. This is a shallow salt lake that’s beautifully edged with white salt formations and surrounded by eucalyptus forests. - New Smyrna Beach has been called the “Shark Capital of the World” by the International Shark Attack File. In 2008, almost 40% of all shark attacks on the planet happened in this region. - If you look at the photo of Frying Pan Lake in New Zealand, you might think that there's fog hanging low over the water. Similar fog (or, more precisely, steam) forms over warm water on a cold morning. - Eagle's Nest Sinkhole is a body of water in Florida that looks like an ordinary pond. It’s only when you get into the water that it gets dangerous. Beneath the lake, there's a huge system of underwater caves with rooms and passages that spread for miles. Roads and bridges are things that are used to travel more efficiently from place to place. They certainly help when it comes to crossing water or great heights between mountains, although those same traits also make these passages absolutely terrifying. These are the Scariest Bridges And Roads You Can Travel On. We wouldn’t recommend going to any of them. Just trust us. Subscribe to Talltanic http://goo.gl/wgfvrr #8 - Zhangjiajie Glass Walk Bridge Just a year ago, China opened a breathtaking glass skywalk that had been added to Hunan’s mountainous landscapes. The winding bridge is 1,410 feet long and, as you can see from these frightening photos, it hovers 984 feet above the ground. This would be the very last place in the world you would find us. You’re on your own if you want to go check this scary bridge out. #7 - Lake Pontchartrain Causeway You might be able to guess why the bridge in this picture made it into this video just by looking at it. It’s not particularly high, and it actually only sits 16 feet above the water. The bridge connects the two Louisiana towns of Metairie and Mandeville. It stretches an incredible 24 miles across the lake. If that wasn’t scary enough, once you get about eight miles into the bridge, you no longer have a visual of land. #6 - Captain William Moore Bridge Although the bridge in this photo isn’t all that scary to look at, once you find out about the surroundings and the structural integrity of this bridge, you might just change your mind. This bridge is located in Alaska and it crosses over an ACTIVE earthquake fault. The engineers who designed the bridge planned for the potential disaster and only anchored one end of the bridge securely. Now, when the ground trembles and shifts, the bridge won’t just be torn apart. However, we want to know how it’s still safe with only one end secured. How does that work? #5 - Millau Viaduct, France The bridge in this picture gives us the same thrilling fear as riding a roller coaster. The bridge pictured here is the Millau Viaduct located in France. The tallest part of the bridge, from the valley floor to tip of the mast is 1,125 feet tall, which is taller than the Eiffel Tower! It may be less than two miles in length, but this is another path we just aren’t going to bother taking. #4 - The Confederation Bridge This bridge located in Canada made it into this video not because it is incredibly tall and you’re scared of heights, but because it is a long eight miles to the other side. You can see just how long it is in this picture. While that in itself doesn’t seem to shiver worthy, the fact that it is the longest bridge crossing over ice cold water in the world, does. Yes, there are ones that are miles longer, but supposedly not over such freezing waters. This one billion dollar bridge probably won’t just dump you in the water as it crumbles, but that fear factor that it will is still alive and well. #3 - Hussaini Hanging Bridge Hanging bridge is right! Though it should really be called “hanging by a thread bridge,” just look at the mess in this picture, someone come collect their granny, she needs help! This rickety cable and wood bridge is located in Pakistan, and you couldn’t pay us enough to cross it. The bridge crosses over the rapidly flowing Hunza River and the tattered and worn remains of the previous bridges hang right next to the one being currently used. To make this bridge that much more unbearable, it was swallowed up by flood waters in 2010. Although there has been a newer one built, it doesn't seem any safer. #2 - Monkey Bridges If you told us that we would have to walk across the scary skinny bridge pictured here, we would have laughed into next week. There’s just no way. Even though this bridge seems like a joke in a movie, these “monkey” bridges are used as a quick passage in several parts of Vietnam. The name “Monkey” bridge comes from the stooped posture you have to adopt when crossing. Just so you know how crazy this bridge is, it is exactly as it looks in the picture; the bridge is made from a single bamboo log with one or two handrails. If you think crossing this is a good idea, best of luck to you and we’ll see you down at the bottom of the river, since you’re certainly falling in. #1 - Eshima Ohashi Bridge This terrifying bridge wasn’t a nightmare constructed by an architect but if you looked at this picture of the bridge, you would think it was. This mile long bridge spans across Lake Nakaumi and links the city of Matsue to the city of Sakaiminato. The reason for the sudden climb in the bridge is meant to allow entire barges or ships underneath without incident. Although this bridge looks absolutely terrifying at about a 45-degree angle, it is actually not that steep, and a side view of the bridge shows that the highest point is reached with a gradual incline. It’s not at all how it appears.

Which trees are dangerous to humans? There are over 3 trillion trees on our planet that clean our air, help prevent water pollution and soil erosion, and provide us with oxygen and shade on a hot day. Some plants and trees, however, aren’t exactly that good since they’re super dangerous and can seriously hurt you or even kill. If you ever see any of them, don’t touch them and ask for help to remove them. When the fruit of the sandbox tree matures, it becomes dark brown and explodes, shooting seeds a whopping 150 miles per hour in all directions. You can imagine what a serious injury that could cause if you get in the way of these organic bullets. If a child or dog eats just one or two of cherry trees’ leaves, they’ll suffer from a horrible stomachache. And if they eat more than that, they’ll most likely end up with cyanide poisoning. If children or dogs eat or chew on Buckeyes, they’ll most likely suffer from vomiting and diarrhea. Pets may have troubles breathing or start to stagger and shake. If you have an Ohio buckeye tree near your house, your best and safest bet is to pick up all the nuts and twigs and keep them out of your kids' and pets' reach. You’re unlikely to swallow two hundred seeds or munch on twenty apple cores, which is the fatal dosage for people. But if pets and other animals eat too many apples, it can easily kill them. Some of the cerbera odollam’s components are used to make deodorants and pesticides, but in its pure form, the cerbera odollam can be deadly. Manchineel tree is covered in poisonous sap, and if it comes in contact with your skin, it can cause blindness. Do not burn manchineel wood even if you have nothing else at hand to start a fire. The smoke from this fire will definitely lead to eye inflammation and even temporary blindness. Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music TIMESTAMPS The sandbox tree 1:06 The cherry tree and its relatives 2:07 The Ohio buckeye 3:16 The apple and crabapple tree 4:15 The cerbera odollam 5:12 The manchineel tree 5:57 SUMMARY -If you get the sap of sandbox tree in your eyes, blindness can become a frighteningly real possibility. If you accidentally eat the fruit, your body will have an almost instant reaction with cramps, vomiting, and diarrhea. -The cherry and its relatives release particular chemicals that later metabolize into cyanide, poisoning with which can easily and quickly become fatal. -All parts of the Ohio buckeye tree contain saponins, which are chemicals that depress the central nervous system. -The leaves, stems, and seeds of apple trees contain that very same chemical as in cherry trees that’s metabolized into cyanide during digestion. -The cerbera odollam grows in South Asia and India, where some desperate people are willing to end their lives just by eating the extremely toxic fruit of this tree. -Highly toxic milky sap oozes out of the tree’s leaves, bark, and fruit. It contains all kinds of toxins, but the most lethal is phorbol. Even if you haven't swallowed the fruit but just bitten into it, its juice will lead to painful boils that will cover your throat and the insides of your mouth. There are about 117 million lakes on our planet, and they cover almost 4% of the continental land. Lakes can be small or big, clean or dirty, vital for local infrastructure or...deadly. And if you've been wondering which lake is the most dangerous in the world and why, this video will answer your questions. TIMESTAMPS: Where the most dangerous lake in the world is situated 1:11 What makes Lake Kivu so dangerous 2:05 What happened at Lake Monoun in 1984 2:27 What happened at Lake Nyos in 1986 3:06 What characterizes crater lakes 4:11 What was the solution 6:21 How much contains methane gas Lake Kivu contains 7:06 How many people could die if Lake Kivu explodes 7:52 Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music SUMMARY: - The most dangerous lake in the world is situated in Africa on the border of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda. It’s Lake Kivu, the ninth deepest lake in the world. - On August 15, 1984, a loud boom sounded from the lake, according to locals. People saw a huge gas cloud over the surface of the water. This natural disaster took the lives of 37 people. - The theory was proved false 2 years later on August 21, 1986, when a much more disastrous explosion shook Lake Nyos, which is located just 62 miles away from Lake Monoun. This time, the catastrophe happened at night and took the lives of more than 1,700 people. - Crater lakes usually have extremely high levels of CO2 due to the volcanic activity that’s happening many miles beneath the surface. Under normal circumstances, this gas is occasionally released during the lake water turnover. - Nowadays, measures have been taken to prevent similar catastrophes from happening. The solution was quite simple: degassing. Authorities installed a pipe that runs to the very bottom of Lake Nyos. - Lake Kivu contains more than 55 billion cubic meters of methane gas, which is generated at the bottom of the lake. On top of that, it's also located in a crater, and its volcanic rock bed has layers of carbon dioxide. - Either the methane explosion or CO2 poisoning could take the lives of more than 2 million people living in the basin of Lake Kivu. Support our Patreon today: https://www.patreon.com/theywillkillyou Subscribe for new videos: http://goo.gl/SaufF4 Follow us on Instagram: @theywillkillyou Voiceover by Carl Mason: carlito1705@icloud.com Number 8 Trollstigen Trollstigen, which in English translates as Troll’s Path, is a serpentine mountain road in Norway that offers some of the most breathtaking views in the world. According to Norwegian folk tales, trolls roam the mountains alongside the road during the nighttime only to change into stone when the sunlight hits them in the morning. At the height of the tourist season, around 2,500 vehicles pass Trollstigen every day. As they move up the single-lane road, deep fjords and lush valleys unfold below. Trollstigen has an incline of 10% and 11 vertigo-inducing hairpin turns that snake up the steep mountainside. Number 7 Guoliang Tunnel Road When the Chinese government decided that building a tunnel to only be used by a couple hundred villagers wasn’t worth the cost, the people of Guoliang village took matters into their own hands. Over the course of five years, a group of thirteen villagers mainly used hammers and chisels to carve a 0.75-mile-long tunnel into the side of the mountain. The process was long and arduous. It even claimed the life of one of the builders. Number 6 Lena River Ice Road Navigating a road in the frozen Siberian wasteland is no easy feat. The Lena River ice road connects the urban settlement of Nizhny Bestyakh, on the river’s east bank, to the port city of Yakutsk on the west side of the river. It’s open from late December to the middle of April and it represents a vital route for bringing supplies from Yakustk to remote settlements in the area. Winter roads like these are the lifeblood of outlying Siberian communities, but driving on them can be extremely dangerous. Each year, dozens perish when their vehicles fall through cracking or melting ice. Number 5 Zoji La On the Zoji La the roads are narrow, the drops are steep and there’s no rail to protect drivers from plummeting several thousand feet. This western Himalayan passage is basically a one-lane dirt road hugging some of the world’s tallest mountains. Located at an elevation of around 11,500 feet, the Zoji La connects the towns of Srinagar and Leh in the Indian Kashmir. Even though it’s only roughly 5.5 miles in length, driving through it requires experience, a reliable vehicle and nerves of steel. Number 4 North Yungas Road This 43 mile long gravel dirt track connects the town of Coroico to the Bolivian capital city of La Paz, the highest administrative capital in the world. However, in its heyday, the road would claim anywhere from 200 to 300 lives each year. Cars, trucks, buses, motorbikes and bicycles all fell victim to it. Number 3 Fairy Meadows Road Located in Pakistan’s Gilgit-Baltistan region, the Fairy Meadows road is as beautiful as it is deadly. Starting on the Karakoram Highway, the world’s highest paved international road, which connects China and Pakistan, the Karakoram has a total length of around 800 miles and traces a route of the ancient Silk Road. The lives of 892 workers were lost, mostly in landslides and rock falls, while building this highway. It’s one of the world’s highest alpine climbs and Fairy Meadows is arguably the deadliest portion to splinter from it. The road’s 10-mile length is completely unmaintained and mainly consists of gravel. Number 2 Babyburt Of Yolu-D915 Located in Turkey’s Trabzon province, the D915 is currently one of the most dangerous roads on the planet. It measures around 65 miles and connects the town to Babyburt, a city in northeast Turkey. The D915 doesn’t have any safety rails to protect from steep vertical drops of several hundred feet and, because of the altitude, the weather is unpredictable. Even though it starts and ends with asphalt, the bulk of the road consists of loose gravel. As the D915 snakes its way down the mountain, revealing its 29 steep hairpins, drivers have to face twists, and turns so narrow that it’s almost impossible to turn the first time. Number 1 Mumbai Railways Even though it’s not actually a road, India’s railway system has to take the number one spot on our list as it claims more lives each year than all of the previous entries combined. Mumbai, the country’s most populous city, is particularly affected by train-related accidents. According to Mumbai Railway Police data, these incidents have claimed the lives of over 38,000 people since 2007.

There are some substances that are particularly dangerous for your drain. Follow some simple rules and avoid dumping certain things down your drain to save your money and nerves. Why is a clogged drain so terrible in the first place? The most obvious reason is that you can do serious and expensive damage to your kitchen or bathroom. Plus, the water in your drains is dirty already, and it obviously gets worse with garbage inside. Finally, not only does it give off a terrible smell, but it can also cause complications with certain health conditions like asthma or allergies. Next time you’ve had a delicious meal, scrape any leftovers from your plate into the trash where they belong instead of washing them down the drain. Remember that eggshells, coffee grounds, oils and fats, as well as flour, should never go in your drain. Some people think that medicine dissolves easily in water, so they throw expired pills down the drain. In reality, they don’t dissolve in water, they contaminate it. Hair is one of the most common reasons why pipes get clogged in the bathroom. When the hair goes into the tub’s drain, it gets stuck inside and forms a ball that acts likes a net for other waste. Condoms and feminine products are a nightmare for your toilet’s pipes and drain, as well. TIMESTAMPS Rice and pasta 0:25 Eggshells 0:59 Milk 1:30 Flour 2:10 Coffee grounds 2:36 Oil and fats 3:00 Medicine 4:09 Hair 4:36 Stickers from fruit and jars 5:13 Building waste 5:40 Condoms 6:03 Cigarette butts 6:30 Feminine products 6:55 #blockeddrain #cleaningtips SUMMARY -Pasta and rice absorb water and expand blocking the drain. -Eggshell pieces can get stuck to each other and form one big massive hunk over time. -If you pour it down the drain in large amounts, milk can cause some serious environmental problems. -Imagine flour and water combining inside your drain and making a glue-like substance. It can attract other waste and form a huge clog. -Coffee grounds are one of your drain’s arch nemeses. -Cooking oil mixes with other kinds of waste and strengthens their clogging powers. -Believe it or not, medicines don’t dissolve in water, they contaminate it. -When the hair goes into the tub’s drain, it gets stuck inside and forms a ball that acts likes a net for other waste. -Stickers themselves are made of materials that take a very long time to decompose, plus, they have glue on them. -Never put building waste, be it even tiny pieces and powder-like debris, down the drain. -Condoms can stretch really well and get stuck inside pipes or get filled with air, water, or other waste which will lead to a very serious clog. -Cigarette butts are made of a synthetic material that never dissolves and harmful chemicals, like nicotine, which can contaminate the water supply. -Remember that feminine products can dramatically increase in size, and it leads to a very serious clog. The Akha in Laos live almost untouched by modern civilization. They still adhere to their archaic customs. But they are on the verge of upheaval. Cut off from the rest of the world, without a paved road, the village of Peryensang Mai has remained almost untouched by modern civilization to this day. Its inhabitants are from the Akha tribe, and they seem to live in a different time: Their language isn’t even written down; their everyday life is defined by the laws and rituals handed down from their ancestors such as animal sacrifices to ward off bad luck. This adherence to customs that are often quite brutal endows the Akha’s lives with stability and direction. The women of the village have a particularly busy life. Because the Akha are largely self-sufficient, their tasks range from agriculture to housework and making traditional clothing. This documentary tells the story of the Laovan family. Mother Yeapheun has always had to work hard to support her large family. Her husband is the village elder and ensures the Akha observe the strict laws and commandments. The couple and their eldest children cannot imagine life beyond the mountaintop, so the family is pinning its hopes on youngest son Kienglom, who has been going to school in a nearby town since he was eleven years old. Like many mountain tribes in Laos, the Akha are facing a difficult choice: between a move down into the valley, which would mean they would have electricity, running water and better medical care - but also abandoning their ancient rituals. The film takes the viewer on an emotional journey of discovery to a tribe torn between tradition and modernity and facing the need to reinvent itself in today's world. -------------------------------------------------------------------- DW Documentary gives you knowledge beyond the headlines. Nasa Rocket Tower Demolition: Blowdown is an explosive four part building demolition series profiling some of the most challenging projects of Controlled Demolition Inc of Phoenix, Maryland. Each of the structures, some notable, others notorious is unique and present the team with challenges ranging from the structural, to the explosive and bureaucratic. In this episode, the team from CDI travels to Patrick Air Force Base in Cape Canaveral, Florida to take down an obsolete rocket launch tower. Mobile Station Tower 40 (or MST 40) was once the largest mobile structure in the world. Built during the early 1990s MST 40 was 265 feet tall, and had 20 working stories. It launched both the prestigious Mars Observer as well as the Cassini mission to Saturn. During the late 1990s the air force phased out the rocket type that was launched from the tower and in 2005 MST 40 was retired. The demolition team has just 30 days to prepare the tower for explosives, and bring her down safely. They struggle to work in a brush fire hazard area where frequent electrical storms and high winds heighten the risk of working on the tower. Adding to their challenges are two sets of lightening towers that lie close to the tumbling tower’s intended path and a subterranean control bunker that lies beneath it. In order that neither are harmed during the implosion the demolition team must pull-off a precise drop. To achieve the precision they need CDI uses over 700 powerful steel cutting explosives called shaped charges. These incendiary devices are high velocity explosives – they employ the same technology as armor piercing shells and warheads. The team uses the charges to cut through the tower’s entirely metal structure. CDI comes in to work on MST 40 during the cusp of hurricane season. They have just one month to prepare, load and implode the tower. Major concerns are undermining the hurricane proof rocket tower’s integrity, gutting hundreds of thousands of structural steel while remaining on schedule, and manually moving the tower 75 feet. __________________________________________________________ Subscribe Free Documentary Channel for free: https://bit.ly/2YJ4XzQ Facebook: https://bit.ly/2QfRxbG Twitter: https://bit.ly/2QlwRiI __________________________________________________________ #FreeDocumentary #Documentary #BlowDown __________________________________________________________ Free Documentary is dedicated to bring high-class documentaries to you on youtube for free.
