While Duggar fans are over the moon that Joy-Anna Duggar gave birth to her first child, a baby boy named Gideon Martyn, there are still some unanswered questions surrounding the TLC reality stars pregnancy. One of which is being where exactly was the baby born; it looks like this couple opted for going through the process in a hospital, even though the famous family is known to have home births. Cousin Amy Duggar took to Instagram to congratulate her cousins on their happy news, but the photos turned out to be more of a bombshell than fans expected! Joy-Anna can be seen laying in a hospital bed surrounded by machines, and hubby Austin, happily gazing down at their new bundle of joy. This is the first time we can clearly see that Joy-Anna did not have her baby in her own home, and fans can't help, but wonder if there was some sort of complication that forced her into a hospital. One fan speculated that, it had to do with size, "At least she used a hospital. Baby had to have been to big for home birth," they wrote. "Welcome to the world precious Gideon. Congratulations Joy & Austin!", wrote Amy, also making the brilliant point that every one of her cousins has had baby boys. Perhaps Joe and Kendra, or Ginger and Jeremy will break the streak when they give birth later this year! The blog Keeping Up With the Fundies first piqued fans interest, when it shared some photos from Andrew Pattons Instagram of the new addition, and the setting seemed to be a hospital. "Its truly incredible when you grow up with, and walk through life with a friend you can call brother," he captioned the image. "From riding the campaign trail, to standing by you on your wedding day, to holding Joys, and your little baby boy! Its been an honor, and a blessing, and I am looking forward to seeing where God takes our families these next few years. So extremely happy for you guys, you all are going to make great parents!" #joyannaduggar #joyannaforsyth #joyanna #austinforsyth #firstchild #duggars #duggarfamily #austin #countingon
For several months now, we've been hearing rumors that Derick Dillard is cheating on his wife, Jill Duggar. Outlandish Duggar rumors are a constant on social media, but this one seemed more legit than most, thanks in part to the fact that at one point, Derick seemed to confess to cheating on Jill. Apropos of nothing, Der tweeted a bunch of quotes about adultery, and in typical Duggar clan fashion, many of them subtly placed the blame on the wife who'd been cheated on. This is in keeping with the family's philosophy on marriage, as Michelle famously warns her daughters that it's their duty to have sex with their husbands on command. She also believes that if they're unwilling to do so, they shouldn't be surprised when the husband "gets it" elsewhere.
