Mclaren P1 Hypercar performance review: First, lets clear some misconceptions about the Mclaren P1. I'm not sure where the rumors came from how the Mclaren P1 is the top 3 Hypercars, it's not. It also has a serious physics issue regarding bodyroll. The Koenigsegg Agera R is a much better hypercar overall. I will showcase the adjustable tuning of the P1 and Latrell's Car Part 2 lap time comparison in the next video. Surprisingly, the P1 is very similar to the Agera R. It understeers during braking and when you let go the throttle. So you need to brake before a turn and full throttle for it's best cornering performance. It is also drifty at 4th gear, just like the Agera R. Acceleration wise both Engine and NOS power is identical to the Agera R. The difference however is it's overall cornering. It is slightly weaker than the Agera R in taking corners. The P1 also has excessive bodyroll issue where it becomes a tripod which not even the pro settings tune will help. At best, it only minimizes the effect. This bodyroll of the P1 cause the car to become a bit unpredictable as it will have sudden understeer when the P1 becomes a tripod. It is apparent when cornering at high speeds or sudden weight shift. To drive the P1, you need to control it's bodyroll by smooth driving, especially in high speeds. He also called someone a cheater for winning him in a Z06 while he is driving the Caterham SP300R. Right... Caterham is a much faster car than Z06.
