This would have been 2006 for me, and it was my second released game as a Senior concept artist. Working at Blizzard was always a dream for me, so it was a tremendous opportunity, and a tremendous time in my life, where I was able to work on some of my favorite games. Most of this artwork is pretty bad, but you can see how concept art has changed over the past 12 years.

There are also a few moments when I stopped the video to further explain in detail, step by step processes for colorizing your line art, and value sketches. Also I wanted to show you how to make color adjustments and manage your layers. This might be very advanced, but I've tried to include several tips that will help you to leap forward with Sketchbook Pro.

Myself and Sjin headed out to London yesterday for an impromptu Hearthstone Fireside Gathering (I got NEMSY!) where we got the opportunity to sit down with Ben Thompson (Art Director) and Peter Whalen (Initial Gameplay Designer) to learn about how they go about making the cards in Hearthstone. I found it super interesting, I hope you enjoy it too! ♥ Subscribe: http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=YogscastTurpster ● Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/The_T ● Twitch Channel: http://www.twitch.tv/turps ● Powered by Doghouse Systems in the US: http://www.doghousesystems.com/v/yogscast.asp Use the code YOGSCAST to get a free 240GB SSD and a groovy Honeydew graphic applied to any case! ● Powered by Chillblast in the UK: http://www.chillblast.com/yogscast.html
